The two days
A group clinic, and the work is one-on-one. Each rider has their own sessions with Ray, and everyone else watches and learns from them.

Ray reads your horse with you. Where the worry starts, what the first sign is, what your horse does just before the problem. Then the first small steps: a warning first, a way out second.

The same horse, a little more asked. This time you do the work and Ray coaches you, so you leave knowing how to carry on at home.

A one-day rider leaves with a plan. A two-day rider sleeps on it, comes back, and does it again with Ray watching. That second go is what makes it stick.
The everyday handling everything else rests on, and reading your horse sooner so you can ask for less.
A resilient horse still feels the pressure. It meets something hard, stays with you, and comes back down quickly.
Working with your horse loose, with no rope, so the conversation rests on attention and not on equipment.
From the last clinic
Said on camera, and in the group that evening, after Ray’s Cape Town clinic of 26 September 2026.
It was wonderful to spend an entire day just both learning from doing but also learning from watching... I think he’s giving us the tools that we can practice when he’s not around.
Gina Participant, with Roman
One of the most important things that I learnt was just how Rynhardt shows you always to keep everything light... even when the horses get very up and busy and excited and triggered he just stayed super light and gentle the whole time and they just came right back down.
Siri Cape Town clinic
It was really worth it... it was also learning of other horses, because they’re all different, and how the handlers or riders or owners also do the techniques. So it was both from Rynhardt and the horses and the people. And the questions.
Bridget Cape Town clinic
I kind of thought when I saw this from afar that it’s not relevant to me because I’m like coming back into riding after 30 years... I can see the value for both her and me.

Who is teaching
Ray is a safari guide, a trainer and a farrier. Before the clinics there were years of riding horses among lions and elephants, where a horse that cannot settle is not an option.
“I have known Reinhardt 12 years and have worked with him with wild elephants. He will literally blow you away... and you'll have to convince your horse to go back home with you.”
Alistair, who filmed the last clinic

Every level is welcome. Bring the behaviour you are stuck with: that is what the sessions are for. Not sure what your horse needs? That is a good place to start too.
With a participant place you bring your own horse and have your own one-on-one sessions with Ray. With an auditor place you come without a horse and watch every session up close, and ask your questions.
Swartvlei Guest Farm on the Garden Route. The times, directions and what to bring are sent in the clinic’s WhatsApp group once you have booked.
Every rider, for one day or both, gets a year of the full Horse Flow app, the Complete plan. Every auditor gets a year of the Rider plan. It is set up by itself when you pay, and an email brings the link. After the year a rider can stay on at the Founder price of R99 a month, locked for as long as you stay. The voice assistant is in the app too, but it is not part of the free year: you pay only for what you use, with credits you buy in the app.
