Yards and teams · Grooms training
Practical, hands-on training for grooms and yard staff, in the language they work in, on the horses they actually handle.

Why it matters
A horse is caught, led, tied, groomed, rugged and turned out by the same person twice a day. That is where its habits are formed, not in the forty minutes a week it is ridden.
This gives grooms the same foundation owners get: how to tell when a horse is over threshold, when to release pressure, and how to do the daily jobs so the horse gets calmer over time. It is also a safety course. Most yard injuries happen in the ordinary jobs, to people who did not see it coming.

Catching and leading, tying, grooming and feet, rugging, turnout and bringing in, and loading.
The single most useful thing on any yard: seeing a horse tip over before it escalates.
What to do in the moment, so the horse gets calmer next time instead of more defensive.
Grooms, yard staff and working pupils, experienced or brand new. Also owners who want everyone handling their horse the same way.
Half a day or a full day, depending on team size, arranged around the working day so the yard keeps running.
Garden Route and Western Cape, further by arrangement.
What they said
I have been looking for a trainer for years who works with nervous system regulation. I am so excited to have found Rynhardt and Horse Flow. I really appreciate how subtle and quiet the training is and feel that my horses have benefited. The grooms who make up our team have also learnt a lot - and that’s great for the horses. Thanks, Rynhardt, for the considered and kind input.

The yard add-on
Once they are trained, give them the same record: grooms log feeds, visits and treatments on their own phones, into yours. Added to Rider or Complete, with no charge per horse.
Free for one horse. No card. No app store.

No. Grooms, yard staff and working pupils, experienced or brand new. It is run in plain language, hands on, with no jargon.
At your yard, on your horses. Garden Route and Western Cape, further by arrangement.
In part, yes. Most yard injuries happen in the ordinary jobs. Teaching staff to read a horse before it escalates protects them as much as the horse.
